Venus Euphoric is an American alternative rock band from Wallsburg, Utah, formed in 1997. It was formed by guitarist/vocalist Charles Humes, his brother Matt Humes (drums), and Brad Evans (bass/vocals). The three have been playing, writing, and recording together off and on ever since, playing many shows in the Salt Lake City area, and recording two albums. Calling themselves a three-man democracy, Venus Euphoric writes all their songs in a collaborative process, and each member will quickly credit the other two for songs before taking credit himself.

Heavily inspired by nineties alternative rock bands like Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Hum, and Failure, Venus Euphoric's sound has evolved over the years -- from a loud, angst-ridden noisefest to later be described as "delicately crafted, with lots of deftly-executed melodic and style ideas". Charles Humes "has a soft Muse/Radiohead-like voice, a good, emotive tone with some solid falsettos, and...[is] not afraid to let it all out." Matt Humes has a background in jazz drumming, and his sound has been called "completely right".

In addition to writing and playing all the music, Venus Euphoric has also made all of their own albums, recording in Matt Humes' basement studio. With an incredible ear for and love of the nuances of recorded music, Matt has since become a professional sound engineer.

Venus Euphoric is currently working on a third album, which they hope to release in 2028 on the 20th anniversary of the release of their second album.
