Brothers Kody and Kirby Yardley and shirtless drummer Aaron Evans began jamming in the basement of Kirby's house in Midway, UT some time around 2005. Early jams sometimes featured Charles Humes on bass, but he was later replaced by part-time bass player and full-time Paul McCartney lookalike Anthony LaGuardia. (The world may never know if this was because of his considerable bass skills, or his resemblence to the more famous bassist.)

The band played a few shows (and won a couple of awards) before disbanding. Though an official album was never released, a number of demos the band recorded was later grouped together and called Derivative.
